Realize I am not much of a diptych photographer, something about it makes me lazy, like digital photography.

In the award-winning documentary Children Full of Life, a fourth-grade class in a primary school in Kanazawa, northwest of Tokyo, learn lessons about compassion from their homeroom teacher, Toshiro Kanamori. He instructs each to write their true inner feelings in a letter, and read it aloud in front of the class. By sharing their lives, the children begin to realize the importance of caring for their classmates.

Love Jet is the best invention since apple pie.

Gallery Deux Poissons was my favorite little gallery in Tokyo. They showcased beautiful baubles from Japanese and European fine art jewelry artists. Like most cool things in Tokyo, it was very tricky to locate the elegant ‘hole in the wall’ gallery. But, it’s like finding a buried golden treasure once you come across it.
